A pharmaceutical company retained G4S Compliance & Investigations to investigate whether a competitor was infringing on its intellectual property.

Using a cover company, investigators of G4S Compliance & Investigations posed as entrepreneurs and successfully purchased samples of the suspect product. The product was later found through the client's Research and Development department to be infringing on their patent. As a result of the investigation, the client was able to successfully litigate against the competitor.
